Soliya’s work building a network of young people in the “West” and the “Arab & Muslim World” and empowering them to bridge the divide between their regions is more timely than ever. Each day the headlines demonstrate the human cost of this divide.  Each day the hatred and distrust grow.

And yet in so many ways our world is shrinking.  There are ever-increasing opportunities to connect with people on the other side of the globe, but generally these opportunities are squandered.

Soliya is working to fill this gap by using cutting edge “social media” and learning technologies to enable real, meaningful connections across this divide.  In this moment of rapid, cost-efficient technical development, the potential reach of Soliya’s programming is enormous.  Now is the moment to leverage this opportunity, to address this ever-more-dangerous global divide.
